ABOUT

My journey in pipemaking began simply as a way to pass some time while awaiting the birth of my twin daughters in 2009. It quickly became a quest to actually make something that I was proud to stamp my name on. Fifteen years and hundreds of pipes later, I still love the feeling of completing a pipe and sending it off to be enjoyed. As far as pipemaking goes, there is no greater feeling than to hear from a happy customer who’s enjoying their new pipe.

I was lucky enough to receive the mentorship and guidance of several American masters early on in my endeavors and continue to enjoy many friendships among makers, collectors, and customers. As anyone in the pipe community can attest, the camaraderie that tobacco pipes inspire is second to none. If you would like to speak to me for any reason (questions, commissions, even just to chat about pipes or any other topic) head over to the contact page and shoot me a message. I would love to talk to you.

MISSION

My mission has always been to make the best quality pipes I am capable of. I take inspiration from the masters of English and Danish pipe design, with a little of the American masters added for spice, and make each pipe my own. I love exploring stem and accent materials and seek to make every pipe a cohesive whole while exploring contrasts in color, texture, and design. More than anything, I just enjoy making pipes and I believe that shows in the finished product.
